Maculan family, winemakers with a passion for extra virgin olive oil

The high plains of Asiago (Veneto Region) offer natural protection and create an extremely mild climate that favors the cultivation of vines and olives

by Luigi Caricato

It isn't a coincidence that in the 500s, the Venetian nobility already preferred to spend their summers in the area of Asiago, sojourning in the splendid villas perfectly designed by the great architect, Andrea Palladio.
Here was born the Maculan farm that consists of 15 hectares of estate owned vineyards in the commune of Breganze. 24 additional hectares are leased within the Doc zone of Breganze.
They produces also a beautiful extra virgin with ripe olives, hand-picked in October from olive trees in Breganze. The fresh olives were pressed at Breganze. Best kept in a cool and dark place
