Martinelli is a farm in Bevagna (PG) that has about 20 Ha of vineyard.
350 meters above sea level, the soil is mainly sedimentary, tendentially clayish and argillaceous.
The yield for hectare is limitated (50 quintals/Ha, 60% wine).
The maturing of wine is 30 months, of which at least 12 months in French sessile oak casks and 8 - 12 months in bottles
DOCG SAGRANTINO DI MONTEFALCO 2005
Description: dark in color, has a complex olfactory: tobacco, pepper, plum jams, balsamic notes. The taste is full, deep, warm with evident tannins, very long gustatory persistence. Excellent on roast game, a red one to be forgotten for twenty years in the cellar.
