Cusmai Farm is the new and dynamic image token by our farm in order to promote the excellent extra virgin olive oil and its native land. This “mission” was born at the beginning of the century, thanks to grandfather Salvatore, already oil grower. The devotion and love for his land are enclosed in the way which he loved calling his olives, “Golden bells”. Among lots of properties, in 1925, he bought the manor farm and the surrounding olives trees. This imposing building. Originally belonging to the Croce family, Barons of Naples, and relatives of the Royal Senator Benedetto Croce, was conceived as an oil olive mill, to testify the high territorial devotion of the low Tavoliere delle Puglie for the olive growing. In this particular place, the climatic influence, the techniques of extraction, the precious “cultivar autoctone” (aboriginal cultivation), among them it stand La Coratina (an olive variety), combining to give rise to a unique extra virgin olive oil, with a wide sensory, harmonious and well-balanced profile, and suitable for different culinary uses.
Cusmai Extra Virgin Olive Oil Intense
Produced by Peranzana and Coratina cultivars, originated in Bari province, the olives are harvested in November and December.
Description: the colour is emerald green and the perfumes are intense of green olive, with sensations of artichoke and herbs. In the mounth is bitter and spice with, at the end, a pleasant not of green almond.
