The olive grove extends to the foot of the hills of Cisternino (BR) about 10 km from the Adriatic Sea near the port of Torre Canne. The territory for centuries in this area is devoted to olive and olive trees are centuries old company.
Gianecchia - Colline di Brindisi POD
Ogliarola at least 70%, Cellina di Nardo, Coratina, Frantoio, Leccino, Picholine, and other varieties throughout the area, alone or in combination, in the groves measuring up to 30%.
Intense yellow color with green hues, the nose is fresh with a fruity olive oil over medium-green mature minor. Notice is hereby notes and aromatic herbs, artichoke with a final sweet almond green. The palate is crisp but soft. It confirms the feelings herbaceous but with a prevalence almond aroma. In the end the spicy, not very powerful or persistent, prevails on bitter, barely perceptible.
Serving suggestions: excellent on vegetable soups, white meat, baby food
