From an historical wine family: Il Giangio

Veneto is Region with important wine wines and this Gambellara Doc is a real jewel produced by centuries by Garganega grapes in the hills

Vintners from 1821, Zonin now is a trademark known around the world.
Gianni Zonin was without doubt one of the first to sense this profound change in the market.
At 29 years of age and after receiving his diploma from the enological school at Conegliano as well as a law degree, he became the president of the family wine company. He assured the develop the Zonin family’s estates.

Il Giangio - 2007

Created from Garganega grapes, a traditional variety of the Gambellara zone. The favorable position of the Il Giangio property and the special characteristics of the terrain have made this vineyard, which has been tended with the most scrupulous care by the Zonin family for more than a century, one of the most famous crus of the Veneto.



Description: the wine displays a straw-yellow color of medium intensity enriched by golden reflections. It has a full aroma that is initially fresh and fruity and then develops a richness that includes scents of almonds and elder flowers

Suggested for: appetizers, soups, risottos, fish and shellfish, fresh cheeses
