“The meeting with President Riccardo Cortarella was very positive. We analysed the data elaborated by Assoenologi on the wine export in the first semester of the year and the 8%increas e of the value of our win export is a really encouraging sign. Wine is an important pulling force for the entire agri-food sector, contributing significantly to reaching the exports record that this year is over 34 billion euro. We have to work harder at the international level, because we are the leading country in terms of product, thus we cannot lower our guard and I asked President Cotarella that also the oenologists be the protagonists of the Wine Pavilion of the Expo 2015.”
This declared the Minister of agriculture food and forestry policies, Nunzia De Girolamo, at the margins of the meeting with Riccardo Cotarella, President of the Assoenologi, held the 24th of September in Rome, at the Ministry.
